Professor Han Lixin from the School of Humanities of Tsinghua University, who is in charge of the research project, introduced the content of the Public and Private Theory project, and expounded the significance of "intermediary" in solving the contradiction between "public" and "private" .

Starting from the two theoretical paradigms in which modern natural law thinkers in Western philosophy and German classical philosophers understood the relationship between "public" and "private", Professor Han Lixin focused on the concept that the "object itself" as an "intermediary" is the way to resolve the contradiction between "public" and "private", which was proposed in Hegel's "Principles of Legal Philosophy". Professor Han Lixin emphasized the key role of the object itself as an external "intermediary" in realizing the unity of "public" and "private", and the point that in the process of "private" rising to "public", there is no need for "private" to make self-sacrifice. These two points are of great significance for maintaining the nature of modern China and achieving global development.
