On July 13, 2021, the seminar on "Data Governance in Digital Transformation" co-hosted by Tsinghua IGD, Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and the Economic and Financial Data Research Center of Tsinghua University Institute of Data Science was held.
Policy makers, scientists and economists from universities, and representatives from technology companies attended the seminar and had in depth discussion on topics including the concept, boundary, tools as well as legislation and regulations in data governance, government data disclosure, enterprise data sharing, big data and AI governance, etc.
Experts shared the common view that digital economic development and digital transformation have put forward higher requirements for digital economic governance, and data governance is the core component of digital economic governance and the basic condition for the healthy development of digital economy.
